This is the R307 Fingerprint Sensor Module with a TTL Uart Interface for direct connection to microcontroller uart or to PC through MAX 232/USB-serial adapter. The user can save the fingerprint data in the Module and can configure it in either 1:1 or 1 :N mode for identification of the person. The Fp module can directly interface with three.3 or five volt microcontroller. An integrated image collecting and algorithm chip, All-in-One Fingerprint Reader can conduct secondary development, be embedded into a variety end products. Users can perform secondary development, can be used in a variety of end products including access control, attendance, safety deposit box, car door lock. The R307 Fingerprint sensor module has low power consumption, low-cost, small size, excellent performance, professional optical technology, precise module manufacturing technics. Good image processing capabilities can successfully collect an image up to resolution500dpi Finger detection function

 

Pinouts :

  1.  5V : Regulated 5V DC
  2.  GND : Common Ground
  3.  TXD : Data output – Connect to MCU RX
  4.  RXD : Data Input – Connect to MCU TX
  5.  TOUCH : Active Low output when there is touch on sensor by finger
  6.  3.3V : Use this wire to give 3.3V to sensor instead of 5V

Wires problem

The connecting wires given are very fragile and sensitive we couldn't have proper connection and when we connect it to Arduino the sensor is not stable it is flickering and turning off. It would be better if you provide some male connecting wire for the sensor
