The Raspberry Pi PoE HAT is an accessory designed to power the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ using an Ethernet cable. It requires power-sourcing equipment (PSE) on the Ethernet network to function.
Getting Started
The Raspberry Pi PoE HAT allows you to power your Raspberry Pi through a Power over Ethernet (PoE)-enabled network. This accessory is compatible only with the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (released in June 2019) and the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (released in March 2018). For it to work, the connected network must have PoE-enabled power-sourcing equipment installed.
Supplied with the Product
- Raspberry Pi PoE HAT
- Mechanical spacers
Additional Hardware Required
- Raspberry Pi 4 Model B or Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+
