IT is made using TEA5767 FM Radio IC. Which is a single chip electronically tuned FM Radio for low voltage applications like embedded systems controllers like Arduino and other 3.3V development boards. It also has Intermediate frequency selectivity feature and FM Demodulator feature embedded in itself. It is very easy to interface and as it communicates using I2C communication protocol so it is very easy to interface with other development boards and with adding some minimal additional systems you can actually use it as a stand alone system. As it supports 88MHz to 108MHz so it can be easily tuned into Indian, Japanese, Europe and US FM stations.
