RTL-SDR Blog V3 R860 (R820T2) RTL2832U 1PPM TCXO SMA Software Defined Radio Dongle with Dipole Antenna Kit is a USB-based software-defined radio receiver designed for monitoring and analyzing radio-frequency signals across a wide range of frequencies. It combines an RTL2832U 8-bit ADC, an R860 (R820T2) tuner, and a 1PPM temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) for stable frequency tuning. Built-in direct sampling enables HF reception down to 500kHz, while the software-activated bias tee can power compatible active antennas and low-noise amplifiers. The included telescopic dipole antenna kit supports terrestrial and satellite signal reception, making it suitable for radio experimentation, aircraft tracking, shortwave listening, and spectrum monitoring.
