PC817 Transistor Output Optocoupler IC - DIP-4 Package is a general-purpose optocoupler containing an infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a phototransistor output. It provides electrical isolation between the input and output circuits and is housed in a compact 4-pin DIP package. The PC817 series offers high isolation voltage, transistor output, and a current transfer ratio specified at an LED forward current of 5 mA.
