In electrical power distribution, a bus bar is a strip of copper or aluminum that conducts electricity within a switchboard, distribution board, substation or other electrical apparatus.


The size of the bus bar determines the maximum amount of current that can be safely carried.

For rigid electrical connections, Tinned coated Copper Bus Bars offer a very efficient solution. Resistivity in copper bars is very low, 25 in^2 bar 1 foot long is only 0.0000329 Ohms – roughly 8 Watts lost at 500 Amps.

Returns Policy

Due to the type of products we sell, we accept limited returns. Below are the conditions where we can accept a return request.

1. Damaged During Shipment

If you receive a product damaged during shipment, please notify us within 3 days of receiving the product, supported by proper pictures and a description. Once our support team accepts the return, we will provide a replacement or a complete refund, including the return shipping cost.

2. Wrong Item Shipped

If your item looks different from what is shown in the image on our website, we will take the item back and provide a refund or replacement as per your choice.

Limitation of Returns

We don’t accept returns for products damaged due to improper use. Moreover, we don’t accept returns if the ordered product is not suitable for a specific application. Please read the product specifications and datasheet carefully before placing an order. Returns are accepted only within 3 days from the date of delivery.

Shipping

We ship all over India with free shipping on all prepaid orders above ₹500. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, ₹80 will be charged for orders below ₹599 and ₹30 for orders above ₹599.

Battery Size not mentioned properly

The bus bars are too large for the Highstar 100Ah prismatic cells, and their holes are 8.8mm, while the battery screws are 6mm. This mismatch led to improper connections initially, requiring me to purchase additional washers at extra cost to ensure a proper fit. It's important to ensure compatibility between components like bus bars and batteries to avoid such issues. Although the extra expense for washers was frustrating, it was necessary to ensure a secure and functional electrical connection.

Excellent product

I ordered it to complete my 4S LFP battery (50ah cells), worked perfectly.

I request the Quartz team to expand the selection to various sizes of busbars for different cell sizes. It will help people build thier own systems.

Odd size

The description did not clearly mentioned the type of prismatic cells which it suits. It is not a common size. Disappointed as it did not suit either 200ah cell or even 60 ah cell.
