Noel Pointed Soldering Tip (25watt)

This is a commonly used 5mm pointed tip for soldering. It is generally used for Through Hole components. However, being a pointed tip, it can also be used for soldering larger footprint components in Surface Mount Devices such as 1206 packages or other DPAK footprints also.

It is a replacement  tip for the commonly used 5W, 8W, 12W and 25W soldering rods. The tip can be used to solder electrical wires also.

It is also nickel plated making it stable in terms of heating. It is quite stable with very low drifting even in the cold ambient temperature also.

Few Tips for Safety and Solder tip Life

1. Do not use the solder tip in other forms of material other than soldering, for example, making holes in plastic boards or something like that.
2. Always put solder across the tip before turning off the soldering iron.
3. Turn off the Soldering iron when not in use.
4. Make sure that the solder tip is cleaned using proper flux and water based sponge.
5. Do not use any mechanical file like thing to clean the solder tip.
